SEMINOLE — Larry Dennis rushed for 212 yards and a touchdown Friday night as fifth-ranked New Deal remained unbeaten with a 28-17 win over Iraan in a Class 1A Division II area playoff at Wig Wam Stadium.

Stephen Bryant added 88 rushing yards and a score for the Lions (12-0), who will next face Sunray in the third round at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Kimbrough Memorial Stadium in Canyon. Robert Uballe scored a third rushing TD for New Deal, and Josh Nelson capped the scoring with a 55-yard interception return late in the fourth quarter after Iraan (9-3) had climbed to within four points.
