After finishing second in District 1-3A this season, the Cooper volleyball team took two of the top honors on the all-district squad.
Sophomore libero Hannah Limmer was honored as the Defensive Player of the Year, while freshman setter Katelyn Stewart was named Newcomer of the Year. The Lady Pirates also had a pair of the first-team selections, hitters Ruby Johnson and Brittany Ruble.
Senior outside hitter LaShondra Ray was the lone first-team pick from Estacado, which finished fourth in district play.
