ACUFF — Sarah Lain recorded a double-double Tuesday night with 26 points and 10 rebounds, leading Roosevelt to a 53-46 win at home against Littlefield in a District 3-2A girls basketball game.

Jasmine Brainard added nine points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Eagles (9-6, 2-0 in district), who protected an early lead despite shooting 9 of 23 from the free-throw line.

Littlefield (7-7, 0-2), which made eight 3-point goals but only five baskets from inside the arc, got 13 points from Samantha Williams and eight from Fatima Marquez.
