No. 5 Fillies stay perfect in District 3-2A

ACUFF — Haley Burton scored 18 points to lead three Shallowater players in double figures, and the fifth-ranked Fillies beat Roosevelt 77-64 in Friday night to remain undefeated in District 3-2A.

Brittney Scaff added 13 points for Shallowater (26-2, 13-0 in district), while Taylor Wilson scored 10. The Fillies broke open a close game in the third quarter, when they outscored Roosevelt 26-10.

Sarah Lain recorded a double-double for the Lady Eagles (13-14, 5-8), scoring 24 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, while Jasmine Brainard added 16 points and five assists.
